My second family...I love you so much!

I'm sitting here in class and my professor's words are going in one ear and out the other.
Senioritis.
I've got a bad case of senioritis.
So here I am...blogging.
I might as well get something productive done with my time, right?!

I'm looking at all these pictures that I took on Sunday when B and I went up the canyon with his family.
And I'm thinking about my in-laws and how I love them so much.
I seriously feel like I hit the jackpot.
B's the best person in the world.
And he came from the greatest family ever.
They are so sweet, and loving, and kind, and FUN.
Like, really.
They are so fun.
And they have always always treated me like I was their own and I've always felt like an important part of their family.
Anyone who knows the Sanford's can back me up here.
THEY ARE THE BEST.
So Sanford's...I love you!!!
I feel so blessed to have married into your family!!

And also, could you BE anymore good lookin'?

 ^^A longboarding, trick-doing mother-in-law?! Doesn't get much better kids.

My little Asian mama...

^^ little cuz I've been taller than her since the 4th grade.
And Asian because she's, well...Asian.
It was my mom's birthday this past week.
(and also my bro bro's...but I don't love him as much ;) and didn't get any pictures with him...therefore, no blog post for you brother. I'm sorry. But I hope you had a great day and I love you like a love song.)
My mom is basically the greatest human alive and I love her so much.
Seriously, she's thee most giving and caring person I know (and you too dad...man, I love my parents).
Her and I are BFF's and I hope hope hope to be the kind of mother she is one day!

And also, if you didn't already know, my mom and I have worked in the same accounting office for the past 5 years.
She hired me when I was just a little tyke and we've been desk buddies ever since.
I remember watching my mom type all these numbers at the speed of lighting.
I swear, no one (no one!) is faster than my mom on a computer.
It's insane.
And all these years I've been trying to be as fast as her.
But with no luck.
She's still the best and fastest ever.
She also had a rockin' candy jar right on our desk for everyone to share.
And we also went to lunch together like...everyday.
And she gave me time off whenever I needed it.
And we went shopping when we needed a break.
And clearly, working with her was the best thing.

Anyway.
She recently got a killer (like killer) job offer which she decided to take.
And I miss her soooo much!
My desk has a new buddy, and it just isn't the same.
And I have to get lunch alone.
Alone?!
Alone.
Man, I miss her.
But luckily I live in her basement apartment.
So it's basically impossible for her to get rid of me completely.

And heeeey, Mom!
I know you're reading this...you're like the world's greatest On The Reals stalker.
(well, you and Uncle Dru).
I love you!!!
And miss you at work!
And I'm proud of you for trying new things!
And you don't look a day over 30!
And I tried to pick pictures that you would approve of!
And you look so hot in every single one!
And I hope you had the best birthday ever!
And thanks for being the worlds greatest!

Bikers biking on bikes.

Last spring, B and I bought us some bikes.
He got me mine for my birthday,
aaaand when we were picking it out, I'm like, "why would I ever want to bike alone? You neeeeed to get one too!"
I don't think he was mad for one single second.

We have deemed it our best purchases yet, like a million times over.
I can't even tell you how much we rode them last summer.
My favorite times were when we were bored at 12:00 at night and went for a random midnight cruise.
And every Tuesday when we rode to Sammy's for their two-for-one shakes.
 #greattimegreatexperience

And with these random springy days Provo is having, you better believe our bikes were the first thing we whipped out.
I even woke up early one day and went for a ride
by. myself.
That is unheard of.
Biking by myself?
No thanks.
Waking up early to exercise?
Meh.
But I loved it! I think I'm gonna do it a lot this spring.
You know? Ride to dance and school and stuff and everywhere.
#sexylegscomingyourway

Also, this Sunday we went for our first Sunday pedal together.
We couldn't decide if it was a good or bad thing to do on the Sabbath though.
But we're like, people go on walks all the time on Sunday!
Justification? Yup, looks like it.
So I made us go waaaay slow.
Liiiike...walk pace instead of run pace.
We even avoided routes with hills as to not have to work hard :)
So let's be honest, it was awesome, and I'm sure it'll be a regular Sunday experience.
Just me, my boy, our bikes, nature, and some much needed sunshine.

Point?
Buy yourself a bike.
Stat.

I'm a sickie.

I've been hit by the sickie sick bug.
It's the worst.
I can't sleep cuz I can't frick frakin breathe.
and I basically become a lame-o around 8 o'clock every night when it starts to hit me hard.
Our house is also a disaster.
You should see the bedroom...
It ain't pretty.
Who has time to clean when they're sick?!
All I want to do is cuddle up and watch TV while B works on homework every night.

^^yikes. I spy a bike, cafe rio, shoes from the last couple of days, and a sexy man guy who I love so much.

For real though, I love him so much.
We were watching Modern Family the other night and they were drinking punch in one of the scenes.
I'm all, "oh my heck...juice! doesn't that sound so good?!"
Next thing I know, B is getting dressed (he may or may not have been shirtless), grabbing his keys and asking me what kind of juice my sickie self would like.
10 minutes later, I have a whole bunch of juices to choice from.
Hahaha he's the best.
I made sure to give him a nice 30 second back rub to say thanks before I zonked out on the couch.

Also, I'm having a hard time kissing my hubby.
I probably shouldn't, so I don't get him sick too...buuut whateves.
I can't breathe through my nose, so after we kiss for about 20 seconds
I'm all, "I can't brrrrreathe!!!"
B was pretty patient with me...and we laughed a lot.
So sickie makeout session?
Success.(!)

I love me some Sundays

I live for Sundays.
It's one of the days where I actually get ready.
We also get the best meal of the week (thanks to our parents).
And we are game playing peeps and Sunday is our day for that.
Don't forget the weekly dose of birth control we get after teaching that primary class of ours.
And all the family time.
Catching up on homework is even pretty nice.
And B-man just wants to cuddle me, make out, and watch ESPN all day.
So it's pretty much the best day ever.

Winter Semester 2014 is blowing my miiiiind.

^^ this picture has nothing to do with this post. I just like it aight?

Welp.
Here it is.
My post about how insane this semester is.
Do you even care?!
Probably not.
But you should!
Because I think my brain is going to explode.
It's called concern for your fellow men, you guyzzzz.

So here we go.

I just counted.
My brain and body is currently trying to hold on to 20 (20!) different dances worth of choreography.
Ask any of my dance peeps, my brain is turning to mush.

Also, I got accepted to be a researching assistant for one of the professors here at BYU.
It's so great and I'm currently working on a manuscript to be submitted for publication. (eek!)
That betta look good on my grad school application, right?
However, it requires 10 hours of researching crizapp a week.
Which is fine.
But on top of school, homework, two jobs, and all that choreography being done...it's a complete stretch every week to get those 10 hours in. I'm dying.

Aaaaand yesterday was the first day of the semester where I wore jeans.
Sweats are my BFF lately.

And that hubby is getting slammed as well.
It's pretty sad how sad looking we are.
I swear I haven't seem him all week.
But we're getting soooo smart!!!
We hope.
Last night we stayed up till 2 am working on one of his homework assignments together.
Earlier that week he helped me with one of mine because I was so stressed.
So I owed him one, big time.
Teamwork, kids.
Teamwork.

But this is my last semester of my undergrad!
Right now, thinking of being done makes me ecstatic.
In April, after I graduate, I'm going to sleep in, watch every episode of Modern Family, learn how to cook, and try not to spill my ice cream on B's notebook while he has to do homework :)

PS. I'm so sorry that this little blog of mine has been recently getting the boot.
I hope you understand.
My mom tells me everyday that she's "waiting for a new blog post, rik!"
Sorry mom.

And lastly, sorry for the lame boring post.
The little details about my life are pointless, I know.
But I like looking back on this stuff.
That way when I'm older and losing my mind, I can bask in the days when I was young, youthful and could handle all this stuff.
